Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1 cup sliced bell peppers any color
  • 1 cup snap peas or green beans
  • 1 small zucchini sliced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1-2 tbsp water optional for steaming

Equipment

  • Large skillet or wok
  • Cutting board
  • Sharp knife
  • Spatula

Method

  1. Prepare all vegetables by washing and slicing them into uniform pieces.
  2. Heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for 20–30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add broccoli and carrots. Stir fry for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Add bell peppers, zucchini, and snap peas. Cook 3–5 minutes until crisp-tender.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Add remaining butter and toss.
  7. Add a small splash of water and cover for 1–2 minutes if vegetables need extra softness.
  8. Serve hot with optional parsley, lemon zest, or red pepper flakes.

Notes

For a richer flavor, finish with extra butter. Add red pepper flakes for heat or lemon zest for brightness.
