Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a cast iron skillet.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown ground beef until fully cooked, breaking into small crumbles, about 6-8 minutes.
- Season cooked beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper, stirring well to combine.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly, then mix in shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses until well combined.
- Roll out pizza dough on a lightly floured surface and cut into twelve equal squares, approximately 4 inches each.
- Place a generous spoonful of beef and cheese mixture in the center of each dough square, being careful not to overfill.
- Gather corners of each dough square up and over the filling, pinching edges firmly together to seal, then place seam-side down on prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter with minced garlic, then brush generously over the top and sides of each bomb.
- Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese evenly over all bombs, followed by chopped parsley and Italian seasoning if using.
- Bake for 18-22 minutes until bombs are golden brown on top and dough is fully cooked through.
- Remove from oven and let cool for 3-5 minutes before serving.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces such as ketchup, mustard, ranch dressing, or marinara sauce.
Notes
For best results, ensure ground beef is well-drained before adding cheese. Bombs can be frozen before or after baking for easy meal prep. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
