Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz pasta
  • 2 chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt or to taste
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper or to taste
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions and reserve pasta water.
  2. Season chicken and cook in butter and olive oil until golden and cooked through.
  3. Remove chicken and sauté garlic in the same skillet.
  4. Add chicken broth and cream, bringing to a gentle simmer.
  5. Stir in Parmesan until smooth.
  6. Add pasta and toss to coat, adjusting with pasta water.
  7. Return chicken to skillet, season, and serve.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for the smoothest sauce.
