Ingredients
  

Focaccia Dough
  • 3.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp instant yeast
  • 1.5 tsp salt
  • 1.25 cups warm water 110°F / 45°C
  • 0.25 cup olive oil plus extra for drizzling
Topping
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • to taste coarse sea salt
  • optional garlic powder for extra flavor

Method
 

  1. Combine warm water and yeast in a small bowl. Let sit 5–10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Mix flour and salt in a large bowl. Add yeast mixture and olive oil. Knead 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rise 1–1.5 hours.
  3. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan with olive oil.
  4. Transfer dough to pan and stretch evenly. Use fingertips to create dimples across the surface.
  5. Mix minced garlic with olive oil and brush over dough. Sprinkle Parmesan, rosemary, and coarse salt.
  6. Cover and let dough rise 15–20 minutes.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and crispy on edges. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Reheat in oven to refresh crispiness.
