Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2.25 tsp active dry yeast 1 packet
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.75 cup warm milk
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 egg large
Garlic Butter Filling
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 0.25 tsp salt
Topping
  • 2 tbsp butter melted, for brushing
  • 1 clove garlic grated

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Activate yeast in warm milk with sugar for 10 minutes.
  2. Mix flour and salt in a bowl. Add melted butter, egg, and yeast mixture. Knead until smooth.
  3. Let rise 60–75 minutes until doubled.
  4. Mix garlic butter filling ingredients. Roll out dough and spread filling evenly.
  5. Roll up tightly, slice into 12 pieces, and place in greased baking pan.
  6. Let rise 25–30 minutes, then bake at 375°F (190°C) for 18–22 minutes.
  7. Brush hot rolls with melted garlic butter and serve warm.
