Ingredients
  

Cookie Base
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs large
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
Topping
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1.5 cups shredded coconut
  • 1 cup pecans chopped
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls

Method
 

  1. Cream butter and sugars, then add eggs and vanilla.
  2. Mix in dry ingredients and chocolate chips.
  3. Press dough into pan and top with coconut mixture.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 25–30 minutes until golden.

Notes

Cool completely before slicing for best texture.
