Ingredients
  

Honey Cheese Filling
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 3 eggs large
  • 0.75 cup Greek honey
  • 0.25 cup semolina or all-purpose flour
  • 1 lemon zest from 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.25 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease baking dish.
  2. Whisk ricotta until smooth, then add eggs one at a time.
  3. Mix in honey, vanilla, and lemon zest.
  4. Stir in semolina, cinnamon, and salt until smooth.
  5. Pour mixture into baking dish and smooth top.
  6. Bake 40–45 minutes until set and lightly golden.
  7. Cool completely, drizzle with honey, and serve.

Notes
