Ingredients
  

  • 8 cups popped popcorn plain, unsalted
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.25 cup heavy cream or milk
  • 0.5 cup caramel candies optional
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.25 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Place popped popcorn in a large bowl.
  2. Melt butter with brown sugar and cream in a saucepan until smooth.
  3. Add caramel candies if using and stir until melted.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and salt.
  5. Stir in marshmallows until partially melted.
  6. Pour mixture over popcorn and gently fold to coat.

Notes

Best served warm for maximum gooey texture.
