- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
- In a skillet, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and celery. Cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in soups, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and broth until combined.
- Fold in cooked rice if using, then transfer mixture to prepared baking dish.
- Top with shredded cheese (if using) and chow mein noodles.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, until bubbly and golden brown.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and serve warm.
Notes
Add chow mein noodles just before baking to keep them crispy. Great make-ahead freezer meal.
