  • 2 large apples Honeycrisp, Fuji, or Gala
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • sea salt a pinch
  • black pepper to taste
  • 8 slices prosciutto thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp honey plus more for drizzling
  • 1 tsp lemon juice optional
  • fresh thyme or rosemary leaves for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Slice apples into ½-inch wedges and toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
  3. Grill apple slices 2–3 minutes per side until lightly charred and softened.
  4. Arrange apples on a platter and top each slice with a thin strip of prosciutto.
  5. Drizzle with honey and garnish with fresh thyme or rosemary. Serve immediately.

Notes

Best served warm. Try adding goat cheese or a balsamic drizzle for variation.
