Casserole
  • 1.5 lb ground venison
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 bag frozen tater tots

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. Brown venison with onion and garlic until cooked.
  3. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  4. Stir in soup and sour cream until smooth.
  5. Spread mixture into baking dish and top with cheese.
  6. Arrange frozen tater tots evenly on top.
  7. Bake uncovered 35–40 minutes until golden.
  8. Rest 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Do not thaw tater tots for best crispness.
