Ingredients
  

Burger Bowl Base
  • 1 pound lean ground beef 93/7 lean-to-fat ratio
  • 6 cups mixed greens romaine, spinach, arugula
  • 2 large tomatoes diced
  • 1 large cucumber sliced
  • 1 red onion thinly sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or favorite
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste
Special Sauce
  • 0.5 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 0.25 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 ripe avocado mashed
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp pickle juice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 0.25 tsp smoked paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Season ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add seasoned ground beef to heated skillet, breaking up with wooden spoon. Cook 8-10 minutes until fully browned and cooked through.
  3. While beef cooks, prepare special sauce by combining Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, mashed avocado, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, and seasonings. Whisk until smooth.
  4. Wash and chop vegetables. Arrange mixed greens in serving bowls as base layer.
  5. Remove cooked ground beef from heat and let cool slightly.
  6. Divide cooked ground beef among prepared bowls, placing over mixed greens.
  7. Arrange diced tomatoes, cucumber slices, and red onion around each bowl in separate sections.
  8. Sprinkle shredded cheese over warm ground beef, allowing it to melt slightly.
  9. Drizzle special sauce generously over each bowl and add optional toppings. Serve immediately.

Notes

Store cooked beef up to 4 days refrigerated. Keep sauce separate until serving. Customize with your favorite burger toppings like pickles, bacon, or hard-boiled eggs.
