Shrimp
  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 0.25 tsp red pepper flakes optional

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Mixing bowl

Method

  1. Season shrimp lightly with black pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook shrimp 1–2 minutes per side until just pink. Remove and set aside.
  4. Lower heat and melt butter in the same skillet.
  5. Add garlic and sauté briefly until fragrant.
  6. Stir in honey and soy sauce, letting sauce simmer.
  7. Return shrimp to pan and toss until coated and glossy.

Notes

Do not overcook shrimp. Sauce thickens quickly once shrimp is added.
