Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tsp black tea leaves or 2 tea bags
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 cup milk dairy or plant-based
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tsp honey or sugar to taste

  • Small saucepan
  • Fine mesh strainer
  • Measuring cups

Method
 

  1. Bring water to a gentle boil in a saucepan.
  2. Add black tea and cinnamon stick. Simmer for 3–4 minutes.
  3. Pour in milk and gently heat without boiling.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and sweetener.
  5. Strain into mugs and serve warm.

Notes

Adjust sweetness and milk ratio to taste.
