Ingredients
  

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 onion diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 cups broth vegetable or chicken
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded

Method
 

  1. Sauté butter, onion, and garlic in Instant Pot.
  2. Add broccoli and broth, then pressure cook 5 minutes.
  3. Quick release pressure and blend soup.
  4. Stir in milk, cream, and cheddar cheese.
  5. Season and serve hot.

Notes

Use freshly shredded cheese for best texture.
