Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops bone-in or boneless
  • 1 lb green beans trimmed
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice optional
  • fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. Season pork chops with paprika, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and onion powder.
  2. Set Instant Pot to Sauté, heat oil, and sear pork chops on both sides.
  3. Add garlic and cook briefly, then pour in chicken broth and scrape browned bits.
  4. Return pork chops to the pot, placing them into the broth.
  5. Add green beans on top of the pork chops without submerging them.
  6. Place butter on top of the green beans.
  7. Seal the lid and cook on HIGH pressure for 8 minutes, then quick release.
  8. Remove pork chops and beans, stir in lemon juice if desired.
  9. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For creamier sauce, add heavy cream after pressure cooking and simmer briefly.
