Ingredients
  

Potato Farl Dough
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes cooled
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter softened
  • 0.5 tsp salt

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Skillet or griddle
  • Knife

Method
 

  1. Mix mashed potatoes, flour, butter, and salt to form a soft dough.
  2. Shape dough into a round and cut into four wedges.
  3. Cook farls in a lightly buttered skillet until golden on both sides.

Notes

Do not overmix to keep farls tender.
