Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lb ground beef 80/20 blend
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce optional
  • 3 eggs large
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 2 tbsp green onions chopped for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a casserole dish.
  2. Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add onions and garlic; cook until softened.
  3. Season with salt, pepper, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir and cook 1 more minute.
  4. In a bowl, whisk eggs, heavy cream, and cream cheese until smooth.
  5. Spread beef in casserole dish, pour egg mixture on top, and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  6. Bake 20–25 minutes until cheese is golden and bubbly. Cool 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Add diced pickles or bacon bits on top for extra flavor.
