Ingredients
  

Cookie Batter
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp matcha powder
  • 1 tsp dried lavender
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg large
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp milk

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and matcha powder.
  3. Crush lavender and mix into dry ingredients.
  4. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla.
  5. Mix dry ingredients into wet, alternating with milk.
  6. Scoop dough, place on baking sheet, and flatten slightly.
  7. Bake 10–12 minutes and cool on rack.
