Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 1 lb ground beef or lamb
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup peas and carrots
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.5 cup beef broth
Topping
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • 0.25 cup cheddar cheese optional

Equipment

  • Muffin tin
  • Skillet
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spoon

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven and grease muffin tin.
  2. Cook onion, garlic, and meat until browned.
  3. Add sauce ingredients and simmer.
  4. Fill muffin cups with meat mixture.
  5. Top with mashed potatoes.
  6. Bake until golden.

Notes

Great for meal prep and freezing. Let cool before removing from tin.
