Ingredients
  

Cookie Batter
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour heat-treated
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.25 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp milk as needed
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Mix butter and brown sugar until smooth.
  2. Add maple syrup and vanilla; mix well.
  3. Stir in flours and salt until dough forms.
  4. Add milk as needed for consistency.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Press mixture into lined pan.
  7. Chill until firm, then slice and serve.

Notes

Bars can be frozen for longer storage.
