Ingredients
  

Cookie Dough
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour heat-treated
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 0.5 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 0.25 tsp salt
Chocolate Coating
  • 1.5 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp coconut oil optional

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Microwave-safe bowl

Method
 

  1. Heat-treat the flour by baking it at 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes, then allow it to cool.
  2. In a bowl cream together butter and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Mix in vanilla extract and milk.
  4. Add heat-treated flour and salt and mix until cookie dough forms.
  5. Fold in mini chocolate chips.
  6. Roll dough into small 1-inch balls and place on a lined tray.
  7. Refrigerate dough balls for 30 minutes.
  8. Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil together until smooth.
  9. Dip each cookie dough ball into melted chocolate and place back on parchment.
  10. Allow chocolate to set before serving.

Store cookie dough bites in the refrigerator for best texture.
