Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cups raw walnuts
  • 0.5 cup raw almonds
  • 1 cup Medjool dates pitted
  • 0.5 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.25 tsp sea salt

Equipment

  • Food processor
  • Mixing bowl
  • 8x8-inch pan
  • Parchment paper

Method
 

  1. Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Pulse walnuts and almonds in a food processor until finely ground.
  3. Add dates and blend until sticky.
  4. Add cocoa, maple syrup, coconut oil, vanilla, and salt. Blend until combined.
  5. Press mixture into pan and refrigerate 1 hour.
  6. Slice into squares and serve.

Store refrigerated up to 7 days or freeze up to 3 months.
