Ingredients
  

Hamburger Helper
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups elbow pasta uncooked
  • 2 cups beef broth low sodium
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 2 tbsp parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  3. Add diced onion and cook until softened.
  4. Stir in minced garlic and cook briefly.
  5. Add pasta, broth, milk, tomato paste, and spices.
  6. Simmer covered for 10–12 minutes until pasta is tender.
  7. Stir in shredded cheese until melted.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Add a splash of milk when reheating leftovers to maintain the creamy texture.
