Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1.5 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tsp water (optional)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish

Equipment

  • Large skillet or sauté pan
  • Tongs or spatula
  • Mixing bowl
  • Stove

Method
 

  1. Pat chicken dry, season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add minced garlic to pan and sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Stir in honey, soy sauce, and vinegar. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
  5. Add cornstarch slurry (optional) and cook until sauce thickens.
  6. Return chicken to pan and toss to coat in sauce.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve hot.
