Method
- Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, drain, and set aside.
- Season steak with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
- Sear steak in olive oil until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Melt butter in the same skillet. Add garlic and red pepper flakes; cook 30 seconds.
- Add pasta and toss in garlic butter sauce. Pour in reserved pasta water and stir.
- Add Parmesan cheese and return steak to skillet. Toss to combine.
- Finish with lemon juice and garnish with parsley. Serve immediately.
Notes
Add heavy cream for a richer texture, or more chili flakes for extra heat.
