Method
- Heat oil in a skillet and brown sausage slices for 4–5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- Add onion to the same pan and cook until translucent, then stir in garlic.
- Add broth, BBQ sauce, and honey. Stir to deglaze the pan.
- Add pasta, paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Simmer covered 10–12 minutes until pasta is tender.
- Stir in sausage and cheeses until creamy and well combined.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Notes
For extra heat, add chipotle powder or hot sauce. Great for meal prep — reheats beautifully.
