- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cook ground beef and onion in a skillet until browned.
- Drain excess fat and stir in taco seasoning and salsa.
- Arrange taco shells upright in a baking dish.
- Fill shells with beef mixture.
- Top generously with shredded cheese.
- Bake until cheese is melted and shells are crisp.
- Remove, rest briefly, and serve.
Notes
Use freshly shredded cheese for best melting.
