Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups pancake mix
  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 0.25 cup maple syrup plus more for serving
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.25 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease baking dish.
  2. Cook sausage until browned and drain.
  3. Whisk pancake mix, milk, eggs, butter, vanilla, and salt.
  4. Spread sausage in dish and pour batter over top.
  5. Drizzle with maple syrup and swirl gently.
  6. Bake 30–35 minutes until set.
