Main
  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup ditalini pasta
  • 0.75 cup Parmesan cheese grated

Equipment

  • Large pot
  • Wooden spoon

  • Cutting board

Method
 

  1. Cook sausage until browned.
  2. Add onion and garlic and sauté.
  3. Pour in broth and bring to boil.
  4. Add pasta and cook until tender.
  5. Stir in cream and spinach.
  6. Add Parmesan and season to taste.

Notes

Add extra broth when reheating as pasta absorbs liquid.
