Method
- Cook onions in oil until soft and lightly caramelized.
- Increase heat and add sliced steak, seasoning lightly.
- Cook quickly, chopping and flipping until just done.
- Return onions and peppers to skillet and mix.
- Lay cheese over steak and allow to melt.
- Stir gently to combine and spoon into toasted rolls.
Notes
For easiest slicing, partially freeze steak before cutting.
