Ingredients
  

Sandwich
  • 4 slices sandwich bread
  • 2 tbsp butter softened
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 0.25 cup marinara sauce
  • 14 slices pepperoni
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese grated
  • 0.5 tsp Italian seasoning

Equipment

  • Skillet or frying pan
  • Spatula
  • Mixing bowl
  • Cutting board

Method
 

  1. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Place two slices butter side down in a skillet.
  3. Add mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, and toppings.
  4. Spoon marinara sauce over the fillings.
  5. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.
  6. Top with remaining bread slices butter side up.
  7. Cook over medium heat for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and melted.
  8. Slice and serve with extra marinara sauce.

Notes

Use low heat to ensure the cheese melts before the bread becomes too dark.
