Ingredients
  

Milk Base
  • 2 cups milk any variety
  • 3 tbsp pumpkin purée pure pumpkin
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup or brown sugar
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
Spices
  • 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 0.25 tsp ground ginger
  • 0.125 tsp ground cloves

Method
 

  1. Heat milk gently in a saucepan over medium-low heat.
  2. Whisk in pumpkin purée and sweetener until smooth.
  3. Add spices, vanilla, and a pinch of salt if desired.
  4. Simmer gently for 3–5 minutes, stirring frequently.
  5. Pour into mugs and serve warm.

Notes

Do not boil to prevent scorching and preserve flavor.
