Cracker Dough
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp paprika optional
  • 1 cup Rice Krispies cereal
  • 0.25 tsp garlic powder optional
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together butter and shredded cheddar until smooth.
  3. Mix in flour, salt, paprika, and garlic powder until a soft dough forms.
  4. Fold in Rice Krispies gently to preserve texture.
  5. Roll small balls of dough, flatten slightly, and place on baking sheet.
  6. Bake 12–15 minutes until golden brown. Cool on wire rack before serving.

For extra flavor, try mixing in Parmesan or herbs like rosemary before baking.
