Ingredients
  

Roasted Jalapeños
  • 2-3 jalapeños roasted, peeled, chopped
Cheese Filling
  • 3 tbsp cream cheese softened
  • 0.5 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 0.25 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper
Sandwich Assembly
  • 2 slices bread sourdough or white
  • 1 tbsp butter softened

Method
 

  1. Roast jalapeños at 425°F (220°C) until blistered, then peel and chop.
  2. Mix cream cheese, cheddar, mozzarella, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and chopped roasted jalapeños.
  3. Spread the mixture on one slice of bread and top with the second slice.
  4. Butter the outer sides of the sandwich.
  5. Cook in a skillet over medium-low heat for 3–5 minutes per side until golden and melted.
  6. Slice and serve immediately.

Notes

Adjust jalapeño seeds to control spice level.
