Ingredients
  

Stir Fry
  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 bunch asparagus cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 8 oz mushrooms sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp ginger grated
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1-2 green onions sliced
Stir Fry Sauce
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp cornstarch

Equipment

  • Large skillet or wok
  • Knife
  • Cutting board
  • Mixing bowls

Method
 

  1. Whisk stir fry sauce ingredients together.
  2. Heat oil and cook shrimp until pink. Remove.
  3. Add asparagus and sauté until crisp-tender.
  4. Add mushrooms and cook until softened.
  5. Return shrimp and pour sauce into the pan.
  6. Cook until sauce thickens and coats the stir fry.

Notes

Add chili paste for heat or lemon zest for brightness.
