Method
- Place sliced onion in the bottom of the slow cooker and set turkey breast on top.
- Heat butter, maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, and spices in a saucepan to make the glaze.
- Pour half the glaze over the turkey and add broth around the sides.
- Cook on low for 5–6 hours or high for 3–4 hours until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Brush with remaining glaze and broil 3–4 minutes for added color if desired.
- Slice turkey and serve with extra glaze or pan juices.
Notes
Cooking on low yields the juiciest results. Broiling adds a caramelized finish.
