Method
- Season the chicken breasts with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Place the chicken breasts into the slow cooker and drizzle with olive oil. Add minced garlic.
- Pour chicken broth around the chicken and place butter on top.
- Cook on LOW for 3-4 hours or HIGH for 1.5-2.5 hours.
- Check that chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Serve with cooking juices spooned over the top and garnish with parsley.
Notes
For shredding, cook until extremely tender and use two forks.
