Method
- Brown sausage in a skillet and drain excess fat.
- Add sausage, onion, garlic, tomatoes, broth, and seasonings to the slow cooker.
- Cook on LOW for 5–6 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours.
- Stir in heavy cream and tortellini during the last 15–20 minutes.
- Add spinach and let wilt.
- Season to taste and serve hot.
Notes
For extra creaminess, stir in 2 oz cream cheese before adding the tortellini.
