- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a small baking pan with parchment.
- Stir melted butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar until smooth.
- Whisk in egg and vanilla until glossy.
- Fold in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Mix in chopped chocolate.
- Bake 18–22 minutes until edges are set and center is soft.
- Cool completely before slicing.
Notes
For extra fudgy brownies, slightly underbake and cool completely before slicing.
