Method
- Cream peanut butter, butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Mix in egg and vanilla.
- Add flour, baking soda, and salt to form a thick dough.
- Roll dough into balls, flatten with a fork, and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes until edges are set.
- Cool 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Do not overbake; cookies should look slightly soft in the center.
