Ingredients
  

  • 0.75 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg large
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 cup pecans toasted, chopped

Method
 

  1. Cream butter and sugars until fluffy.
  2. Add egg, yolk, and vanilla.
  3. Mix in dry ingredients.
  4. Fold in toasted pecans.
  5. Chill dough, scoop, and bake until soft.

Notes

Slightly underbake for the softest texture.
