  • 1.5 cups granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.25 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare pie crust.
  2. Mix sugar and melted butter until smooth.
  3. Add eggs one at a time and mix well.
  4. Stir in buttermilk, lemon juice, and vanilla.
  5. Add flour and salt and mix until smooth.
  6. Pour into crust and bake 45–50 minutes.

Notes

Cool completely before slicing for best texture.
