Method
- Season pork chops with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Lightly dredge each chop in flour, shaking off excess.
- Heat oil in a skillet and sear pork chops for 3–4 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and add onions. Cook until caramelized, about 10 minutes. Add garlic and cook 1 minute.
- Sprinkle flour over onions to form a roux, stirring for 1 minute.
- Gradually whisk in broth, then milk, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened.
- Return pork chops to skillet, cover, and simmer 25–30 minutes until tender.
- Garnish with parsley and serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
Notes
For a creamier gravy, use heavy cream instead of milk. Add mushrooms for extra depth.
