Sandwich
  • 2 cups mushrooms sliced
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 slices bread sourdough or country
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 0.5 tsp thyme
  • salt and black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Cook mushrooms in butter until caramelized.
  2. Season mushrooms and set aside.
  3. Assemble sandwich with cheese and mushrooms.
  4. Grill until bread is golden and cheese melts.

Notes

Cook mushrooms slowly for best flavor.
