Ingredients
  

Garlic Bread
  • 1 loaf French bread or Italian bread
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp parsley chopped
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 0.5 cup mozzarella cheese optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice bread in half lengthwise and place cut-side up on baking sheet.
  3. Mix softened butter, olive oil, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper until creamy.
  4. Spread garlic butter evenly over bread halves.
  5. Sprinkle parmesan and optional mozzarella cheese evenly on top.
  6. Bake 10–12 minutes until butter melts and edges begin to crisp.
  7. Broil 1–2 minutes until top turns golden brown.
  8. Slice and serve warm.

Use fresh garlic for best flavor and watch closely while broiling to avoid burning.
