Alfredo Sauce
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1.5 cups heavy cream
  • 1.5 cups freshly grated parmesan
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • pinch of nutmeg optional
  • fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.

  5. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  6. Simmer 2–3 minutes until thickened.
  7. Remove from heat and serve over pasta.

Notes

For the smoothest texture, use freshly grated parmesan and avoid boiling the sauce.
