Ingredients
  

Sandwich Ingredients
  • 2 rolls Italian sub rolls sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for brushing
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • 0.5 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 6 slices salami
  • 6 slices pepperoni
  • 4 slices deli ham
  • 1 tomato sliced
  • 0.5 cup banana peppers
  • 0.25 cup shredded lettuce
  • 2 tbsp Italian dressing
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • salt and black pepper to taste

Equipment

  • Oven or air fryer
  • Cutting board
  • Bread knife
  • Small bowls

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven or air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brush the inside of each roll with olive oil.
  3. Layer provolone and mozzarella on the bottom of the roll.
  4. Add salami, pepperoni, and ham on top of the cheese.
  5. Top with sliced tomato and banana peppers. Season with oregano and black pepper.
  6. Close sandwich and toast for 6–8 minutes until bread is crisp and cheese melted.
  7. Open sandwich and add shredded lettuce and Italian dressing.
  8. Slice and serve hot.

Notes

Add lettuce after toasting to keep it crisp.
