- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8 baking pan with parchment.
- Mix melted butter and sugar in a bowl.
- Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
- Whisk cocoa powder, flour, salt, and espresso powder in another bowl.
- Combine dry ingredients with wet mixture.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Spread batter in pan and bake 22–25 minutes.
- Allow brownies to cool completely.
- Beat mascarpone, cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Spread mascarpone mixture over brownies and dust with cocoa powder.
- Chill before slicing and serving.
Notes
For stronger tiramisu flavor, brush cooled brownies lightly with espresso before adding the mascarpone layer.
