Ingredients
  

Turkey and Rice
  • 1.5 lbs turkey breast or thigh cut into pieces
  • 1.5 cups long-grain white rice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 bell peppers sliced
  • 3 cups chicken or turkey broth

Equipment

  • Large pot or deep skillet
  • Wooden spoon

Method
 

  1. Season turkey with spices and salt.
  2. Sear turkey in olive oil until golden; remove and set aside.
  3. Sauté onion, garlic, and bell peppers.
  4. Add rice and toast briefly.
  5. Pour in broth and return turkey to pot.
  6. Cover and simmer 18–20 minutes until rice is tender.
  7. Rest, fluff, garnish, and serve.

Notes

For extra spice, add chili flakes. Let rice rest before fluffing for best texture.
